LEARN TO TRAIN Rising Stars (Ages 9-12) Through on-snow skill training and an introduction to individual competition, children learn the beginnings of critical reflection skills in a positive environment. Skiing through skill training courses adds a fun challenge to our ski hills! Our skier enjoy racing athletes in their age category for fun, and to measure teh development of their skiing skill - with new friends - a lifetime benefit of the sport!
LEARN TO RACE The Ski racing centre Ski Series (Ages 13 +) The ski racing centre ski series is a program that involves athletes to the French championship of their category, Athletes are involved in a dry land training program starting in the summer. Primary aims are skill development and training in an elite setting. Racers in the Ski racing centre program are required to obtain French Competitor Card which allows them the opportunity to compete in the French National races . The race series consists of five race weekends at ski hills across the province. The athletes race in traditional alpine events of Slalom, Giant Slalom and Super G disciplines. Among the life skills each young racer can learn are the benefits of goal setting, positive lifestyle choice, fair play, self confidence, healthy competition, enjoyment, participation in a positive setting and planned skill development help the athletes succeed.
RACERS SKI SERIES (15 +) FIS series (Federation internationale de ski) The level emphasizes continued improvement of ski racing techniques in slalom, giant slalom and super G. This level may race on FIS levels and athlete's national championships. FIS racers under 80 points will get a 15% discount, while presenting their FIS licence* ( not available for racers under 15 years old, or for masters )
MASTER SKI SERIES (18 to 85) The Ski racing centre Masters Alpine Program offers a recreational opportunity to female and male racers from the ages of 18 to 85+ to develop and maintain a healthy lifestyle in friendly competition with fellow racers across France. Whether you are former competitor, a new racer or an intermediate skier, our program will definitely enhance your skiing abilities as well as providing you with an enjoyable social life. NATIONAL Racers may participate in the entire schedule of National races across which includes registration on the National data base and points list as well as the WC point list. FIS MASTERS Racers require a current FIS Masters Competitor number to participate in International Masters FIS events in France, Europ and other countri es. This card includes registration on the National data base and points list, the WC points list as well as the FIS Masters data base and points list.
